Barn House
I think that I need to take a trip to Washington. Why? Because I found this really cute antique store called the Barn House. I added them to my other blogs list so you can check it out if you want. Their blog is loaded with pictures. It makes me want to decorate.

Sleep Over
Saturday, after I crashed for 4 hours so I was recovered from my not sleeping at the camp out, my friend Stacie showed up for our sleepover. Amber and David were gone so it worked out great. We did everything teenage girls do at their sleepovers (except for calling guys and having a pillow fight). We did our nails, watched a chick flick, ate sugary thing, had a fashion show to decide what we were going to wear on Sunday, talked for hours, listened to music, did our hair, googled over guys and even (just to feel young again) played a detailed game of MASH. It was a tun of fun and we look forward to doing it again. Next time we are going to invite more people so we can have a pillow fight that will make Amber glad they don't make the old pillows that through feathers everywhere. It will be awesome. These pictures are the result of our fashion show. Stacie did my hair.
Ward Camp Out
This camp out did NOT have restrooms; however, being the daughter of my Daddy N., non restroom camp outs were part of my childhood experience. Not wanting to fail my upbringing, I gathered all of my ruffing it experience and decided to participate. I am very glad I did, so thanks Daddy N. for all of those practice camp outs.
I went up with the first group. After we got there and set up I got to help make the peach cobbler. I was so excited to eat it. I hadn't had peach cobbler in forever. It seemed to take forever and a day to cook. It was very good though. Most of the camp out was devoted to free time. During it my friends Stacie, Arwin and I went for a walk. On our walk we found some trees that had allot of character. That's when I remembered my camera was back at camp. Bummer. Later on I did get some pictures. These are them.

Stacie being her usual giving self by setting up someones tent.
Johnathan. The guy I rode up with. He might have cracked his car's gas tank making it over the river.

Part of the night was entertainment. These are some of the people that provided it
This is Sharron. As soon she got there she saw this dog and ran to hold it. The dog was a little freaked out so it tried to run away. Sharron managed to catch it all the same. I couldn't be more fond of my Chinese friend.

After the singing entertainment we watched the Sand Lot on the projector Johnathan had brought up. Unfortunately the battery died with 5 minuets left of the movie. I think the bishopric was the most disappointed because they had never seen it before. After that everyone hung around and talked. I ended up talking and hunting for shooting stars with Adam and Rob. We ended up going to our sleeping spots around 3 am.

In the morning we all ate a yummy breakfast of flapjacks with fruit and whip cream, eggs, sausage, and orange juice. Then I packed up and went home to crash.

Ultimate Frisbee
Last Monday, after FHE I went to play Ultimate Frisbee. I haven't played in a long time so I didn't remember the rules. To my understanding it was basically football with a Frisbee. It went something like this.
The guy next to me caught the Frisbee. Then to his surprise I was right in using his face using my defensive basketball skills I had learned in previous years. The guy let out a "what the" as I knocked the Frisbee out of his hands. It fell behind him so I quickly grabbed him by the waste and through him behind me. Then the guy says something like "Hey, ahh, that's still mine." I asked why. I didn't think I had done anything wrong. He then informed me that your not allowed to hit the Frisbee out of a persons hand. I said OK and then let him throw it. I decided that I needed to know what all the rules are. He told me that I wasn't so post to touch the person with the Frisbee, knock it out of a person hand or run with it.
What I learned-I like Football better.

Calling
Hurray!!! I got my calling, and it wasn't to teach. Instead I get to help on the activities committee. I have always hated planning things so this is a great opportunity to change that. Hopefully our activities will still be as fun as the activities we have had before. If you have any ideas for fun activities please let me know.

Singles Activity
Last Friday my ward went on a temple/ diamonds back game trip. It was wonderful to go to the temple. I felt like I hadn't been in forever. The temple was busy so we had to wait an hour and a half. It gave me time to think about the people who had been waiting for their work to be done for hundreds of years. It defiantly helped me be patient. It was also nice to have the time to sit and think about heavenly things or read my scriptures. I need to go to the temple more often.
After we went to the temple we went to the D-backs game. There was a seat next to my friend Stace. A Jr. high boy came and sat by us for a bit and then left. A Friend, Sterling, asked us why we didn't get his number. I told Stace I didn't date high school boys while I was in high school and I wasn't going to start now. I am sad to say we lost by one point to the L.A. Doggers. I still had fun though. After the game they had fireworks. It was cool to see them so close. I had to plug my ears though. On the way home Stace asked if I was ever worried that I would get a divorce. I told her that there were times when I use to be but that I had learned a lot from my parent's divorce so I think I will be ok. She then asked me what I had learned. Some of the things she had thought of before. Other things she had never considered but was amazed at how much they made sense. At the end she thanked me then said she felt like she had just been to a fire side. My reply was something like "Oh yah, Lesson on marriage with Rissa who's never dated."
She thought it was funny but still thought my view points were good. It made me feel good about myself.
Next Sunday I get a calling. I don't know what it is yet but I know I'm getting one. If you can jinks yourself I'm probably am about to. I hope my calling isn't as a teacher, especially a Sunday School teacher. I am one of the youngest people in my ward. Every guy I have meet has been on a mission and more then half the girls have too. I just think we should learn from our elders. Then again the lord does like to make weak things strong and there is only so many callings in singles ward. I mean there is no primary, nursery, ym or yw. Well see how it goes. All I know is whatever it is I get to say yes and then learn.

Home can be a Heaven on Earth
About two weeks ago my family had a reunion. For anyone who didn't get to go you totally missed out. There was always someone to talk too, play games with and help with anything that needed to be done. My Friend that I brought up seemed to be impressed by how close our family was. I was so proud. I can honestly say that our Family reunions are my favorite thing. I love them even more then Christmas. I love being surrounded by all of you amazing people. You are all so talented and smart. I am so proud to call you each family. What I love best is that I feel completely loved by all of you and that you all love each other too. No matter where we have our reunions we make it a home for the time that were there and I truly feel that it's the closest thing to living in heaven on earth. I am so excited for our next reunion.
