I think almost everyone has a few books they remember being read to them when they were younger. This is one of mine. The illustrations in it are beautiful. Possum Magic is the top of most little Australian kids book list. Actually - almost anything by Mem Fox is fabulous. We have at lest three copies of Possum Magic - one that is very worn, and Jesse and Louisa each have one in their glory boxes - which consist entirely of childrens books.
I'm glad we have these Australian treasuers. They are a part of who we are.
