Everyone needs some excitement in their life. I think that it should be an almost daily thing. It doesn't have to be a big thing it just has to be a "OH YEA!" thing.
These are 10 things that I get excited over. They aren't in any order and some aren't even my top 10.
1. A sugary treat (lemon bars, cupcakes, Daddy N's pumpkin pie, Mum's molasses cookies)
2. A LDS based conference of sorts (General Conference, Women Conference, EFY)
3. Anything that my sister or mom makes
4. Trips (especially when they involve family, the ocean, a new place, a familair place I haven't been to in a while or a foreign country)
5. Eating out
6. Hugs from Super S
7. Seeing little people (anyone under the age of 8, which makes shopping at a busy time great)
8. When Brett comes home from work (I even did this when we were just friends)
9. Christmas
10. Changes in the weather (it changes my wardrobe options)
Whats great is that today will probably include four of those things. I just have to plan it so that I visit my sister when she is cooking. :)

Cardigans!

I recently heard about a place that sells a plethora of cardigans. The place is LOVEculture. Not only do they have a plethora of options but they are inexpensive. Since they are inexpensive AND I am moving to a new city in a new state, I decided that I could splurge and get one. Now I just have to decide which one.

Owl
I have this thing for owls. A few years ago I made owl stationary with some card stocks and my mothers stamps. Just recently I found this necklace at the Etsy shop Melmic. It is on sale for $5. I like it but I am not going to buy it because I am on a budget. But I think that someone should. After all, its a wise old owl.

SNOW is falling all around,
on the house tops, on the ground,
SNOW is falling every where,
on my head and hands and hair.
I don't know who wrote that song but we sang it in primary ( primary: a class where LDS children sing songs and learn about the basic principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ)
Just so you know, it also snows in you car if it is really powdery and your AC is accidentally set to bring in the air from out side. It is not much but is still a weird thing when you are driving.
Happy February.

MyTemple

Last Saturday Brett got time of so I could come see him. We drove up to Mesa and he took me to the temple. I love seeing the temple but I especially like to see this one because it is my childhood temple. I have visited it many times to see the Christmas lights, Easter pageants, to go inside and just as a little girls whose father took her to get ice cream and walk around the temple. I am so glad that there is peace there and that my family has taught me the importance of the temple.

School!!!
School has started again and even though this means that my life will suddenly be full of deadlines it also means that I get to take my creative writing class. Yea!!!! Of course I am excited for my education class too. And since I happen to be lucky enough to live by my school for part of this semester I even get to attend my classes in person until I move away. Thank you community colleges across the United States for being flexible.

Eccentric Lady
When I get older I want to be the eccentric lady that lives down the street.
I want my house to be the the colorful one that always has kids and teenager running in and out of it. Not only my kids but my kids friends too and the neighbor kids that just like hanging there because there is something to do. I want there to be a plethora of craft supplies, games and books. Snacks and baked goods should be abounding on the kitchen counter. There will be rooms in my house that will never seem to be clean. My backyard will have various contraptions and forts that will make it necessary for people to sign a waver before they can go in my backyard.
I am going to wear colorful and some times ridiculous clothing that may not be very functional for certain mom doing responsibilities. Like fancy clothes to a soccer game just for kicks. I am going to have delivered a baked good to every sister on the ward roster if I have lived in the ward for more than a year.
Its going to be great.
